Living Lab 1: How can data exchange revolutionise urban planning?
Find out at the next PISTIS Living Lab!
Tuesday, 3 March
10:00 (Greek Time)
Online (Language: Greek)
We’ll be exploring how the PISTIS platform is transforming the Athens Mobility Hub through smarter data sharing between key stakeholders.
Our very own Konstantinos Fokeas will be representing the I-SENSEGroup/ICCS team, alongside partners from Athens Urban Transport Organization S.A. (OASA SA), DAEM, and Suite5 Data Intelligence Solutions.
Living Lab 2 – A Technical Deep-Dive into PISTIS Architecture
The PISTIS project is pleased to announce the second installment of our Living Lab series. Scheduled for March 5, 2026, Living Lab 2 will shift the focus toward the technical infrastructure enabling secure, high-performance data exchange within the aviation industry.
Exploring the Technical Framework
This one-hour intensive session is tailored for technical profiles, including system architects and IT integration partners. Our technical leads will guide participants through the core components of the PISTIS ecosystem, focusing on interoperability and the practical use of data space connectors.
Key Highlights
- The PISTIS Reference Architecture: A detailed look at the integration layers and security protocols.
- Visualization Tools: A live showcase of the platform’s dashboard capabilities for data monitoring and analysis.
- The Experimentation Factory: A guided walkthrough of the PISTIS sandbox environment, demonstrating how developers and partners can test and iterate within the ecosystem.
Join the Session
We invite all members of the PISTIS community and the broader technical public to join this open exchange.
Date: Thursday, March 5, 2026
Time: 10:00 – 11:00 CET
Living Lab 3: Unlocking Strategic Business Value in the Aviation Sector
Following the success of previous workshops, the PISTIS consortium is thrilled to announce Living Lab 3, scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 12:00 CET.
This strategic session focuses on the Aviation Sector, specifically targeting industry stakeholders, business leaders, and potential data partners. The event will serve as a deep dive into the Greek Hub demonstrator, illustrating how the PISTIS framework enables secure and efficient data exchange to solve complex industrial challenges.
Focus Areas:
The session will cover three critical use cases that define modern aviation efficiency:
Use case 1.1: Airport Operations Optimization – Improving operational efficiency through data-driven insights.
Use case 1.2: Transfer Passenger Management – Optimising aircraft stand allocation and minimising connection times through real-time sharing of transfer passenger and flight delay data between airlines, ground handlers, and the airport.
Use case 1.3: Aircraft Turnaround Process – Enhancing coordination and performance in ground operations.
Beyond technical implementation, the session will highlight exploitation opportunities—showing how participants can leverage the PISTIS ecosystem to create new revenue streams, reduce operational costs, and build lasting industry partnerships.
How to Join:
The event is open to the public upon registration and will be hosted virtually via MS Teams.
If you are involved in airport operations, aviation services, digital transformation, or data-driven innovation, or you have a keen interest in the transportation sector, this session is for you.
