Content Based Retrieval for Distributed Data Trading Platforms

As data sharing becomes more complex, it is harder to ensure that partners follow the rules once they receive a dataset. This paper introduces the Off-Platform Contract Inspector, a tool designed to catch unauthorized data reuse. Using a mix of structural checks and advanced AI, the Inspector can identify exact copies, renamed fields, and even slightly altered data. Validated across the Mobility, Energy, and Automotive sectors, the system achieved a 92% success rate in flagging modified data. By providing clear, easy-to-read reports, it bridges the gap between technical monitoring and legal enforcement. This tool ensures that “data contracts” are actually followed, making decentralized data sharing safer and more transparent for everyone involved.
