COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – The PISTIS project, as a core member of the collaborative EUDATA+ Alliance, is set to make a significant impact at the European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The project will showcase its cutting-edge solutions for secure data sharing and monetization, focusing on the entire data lifecycle and real-world industrial applications.
The EBDVF 2025, taking place from November 12th to 14th under the theme “Empowering Europe’s Future with AI and Data,” is the premier event for Europe’s data and AI community.
EUDATA+ Session: A Deep Dive into Data Value Creation
The main spotlight will be on the high-impact session hosted by the EUDATA+ Alliance—a cluster of seven Horizon Europe projects—titled: “EUDATA+: A Journey Through the Data Lifecycle – Innovations, Use Cases, Values.”
Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 13th, at 10:50, where experts from PISTIS and its partner projects (FAME, UPCAST, enRichMyData, DATAMITE, Graph-Massivizer Project, and ExtremeXP) will guide attendees through the complete data journey, from acquisition to exploitation.
PISTIS’s Contribution to the Data Lifecycle
PISTIS’s presence in this session will be spearheaded by its key coordinators, demonstrating the project’s holistic approach to data management:
Data Lifecycle Innovation: Yury Glikman, the Scientific Coordinator for PISTIS, will present the PISTIS solution’s technical contributions to the early stages of the data life cycle, specifically focusing on DATA INGESTION and ENRICHMENT as well as DATA PUBLICATION. These features are vital for transforming raw data into valuable, usable assets within a secure, federated platform.
Real-World Value and Use Cases: Following this, Sotiris Koussouris, the Technical Coordinator, will transition to showcasing the practical, economic value of PISTIS by presenting its compelling USE CASES. A prime example includes building a comprehensive economic ecosystem around Airport-operations and Transportation actors, highlighting how secure data sharing drives efficiency and new business models in critical European sectors.
Connect with the Alliance at the Booth
Beyond the main session, attendees are encouraged to visit the joint EUDATA+ Booth throughout the event, from November 12th to 14th.
This is a key opportunity to meet representatives from PISTIS and its alliance partners to get a first-hand look at scalable solutions for:
- High-volume data transactions.
- Data and metadata interoperability.
- Strategies to unlock Europe’s vast, untapped data potential.
The EUDATA+ cluster is committed to accelerating data sharing, monetization, and interoperability across Europe, directly contributing to the development of the Common European Data Spaces.
Where: DGI Byen, Copenhagen. When (Session): 13 November at 10:50.
