December 1, 2025 – The PISTIS project organised the EUDATA+ Workshop focused on Mobility and Energy Use-cases, which took place today from 10:30 to 12:00 CET. The event successfully brought together various European projects to explore potential areas of collaboration, mutual benefit, and technology sharing across these two critical sectors.
The workshop’s main objective was to identify synergies between different use-cases and illustrate how technologies from partner projects could enhance the work being presented.
PISTIS platform and use-cases in the spotlight
PISTIS received considerable attention, both for its secure data exchange platform and its innovative use-cases:
-
Platform Overview: The session included a concise overview of the PISTIS platform, detailing how interested parties could access it for experimentation and collaborative work.
-
Live Demonstration: A significant highlight was the live demonstration of the beta version of the PISTIS platform, presented by the project coordinator. This provided attendees with a concrete look at the platform’s capabilities for controlled and secure data exchange.
-
Key Use-Cases: PISTIS-related use-cases dominated discussions across both sectors:
-
Mobility: The project contributed the “Public Transportation Planning Support” use-case (OASA) and two essential use-cases from Virtual Vehicle Research: “Driving Style & Risk Assessment” and “Traffic Quality Assessment.”
-
Energy: Francisco Olivera Mellado (PISTIS) presented a comprehensive set of PISTIS use-cases for the energy sector, including “Increasing the hosting capacity of the grid,” “Investment deferral,” “P2P trading between users of energy communities,” and “Monetisation of Energy Exchange Data.”
-
Highlighting Collaboration
The workshop also featured presentations from other projects, including FAME, DATAMITE, and EXTREME XP, allowing for a robust “Comparing notes” session. This discussion successfully highlighted potential areas for deeper collaboration and technology sharing in the future. Furthermore, contributions were welcomed from representatives of Graph-Massivizer, EnrichMyData, and UPCAST, illustrating how their technologies could further enhance the work presented by the core use-cases.
Overall, the EUDATA+ Workshop served as an invaluable forum, reinforcing PISTIS’s commitment to enabling secure, efficient, and collaborative data utilisation across Europe’s mobility and energy ecosystems.
Next EUDATA+ Workshop: Climate-Related Use-cases
Building on the success of this event, PISTIS and the EUDATA+ cluster will host its next workshop focused on CLIMATE-related Use-cases.
The theme will be “CLIMATE-related Use-cases: How they may be enhanced through collaboration and using other EUDATA+ technologies.”
The objective remains simple: to identify areas of mutual benefit and potential sharing between the involved projects. The session will focus on exploring synergies between climate use-cases and welcoming contributions from other projects that see their technologies capable of enhancing the work presented.
